30 October 2018, Central London, TBC
This seminar will bring together policymakers and key stakeholders to discuss next steps for improving collaboration between health and social care systems – and to assess the initial performance of integrated care systems.
It immediately follows NHS England’s ongoing consultation on contracting arrangements for Integrated Care Providers, which seeks to provide greater detail about how such contracts affect integration between services.
With a recently published review by the National Audit Office into the performance of new care models highlighting mixed results so far amid some indications of progress, delegates will examine the challenges in transforming local health systems and disseminating good practice across the NHS.
Further discussion will focus on how the move towards more integrated and collaborative health services can be effectively communicated to build local systems, following an inquiry by the Health and Social Care Select Committee into integrated care which recommended the development of a national transformation strategy over the next year.
